Free in the browser — phone, tablet or desktop
38-0 runs entirely in the browser. There is nothing to download, no account to create and no email to hand over — open the page, pick a formation and difficulty, and the draft starts. The whole run, from first spin to final whistle, takes a few minutes. You draft eleven players from all-time Premier League squads, see what the bookies make of your XI, then watch a 38-match season play out one result at a time to find out whether you dropped a point.
Playing 38-0 online gives you the complete game, not a trial version. You get all seven formations, three difficulty settings, the era filter that locks the draft to a single decade, the pre-season odds panel with your projected finish and expected points, and the match-by-match simulation of all 38 fixtures. The global leaderboard is open too — finishing a run and posting it takes one tap, and you can see where your season sits against everyone else's.
There is also a daily challenge, which deals the same hand to every player in the world and resets at midnight UTC. That is the version worth playing if you want a fair comparison rather than a lucky draw: everybody spins the same clubs and eras, so the only variable left is how you use them. The site runs in nine languages, and the interface follows whichever one you pick.
The game was built for a phone screen first. The pitch is laid out vertically with the goalkeeper at the bottom and the attack at the top, so an eleven-slot formation fits without pinching or scrolling sideways, and every control is a tap rather than a drag. Nothing about the browser version is cut down compared with a desktop run — the same pools, the same rerolls, the same simulation.
If you end up playing often, the site can be installed to your home screen straight from the browser, with no app store involved. Installed, it opens full-screen and keeps working without a connection, which makes it useful on a commute. That is optional, though. The online version needs nothing but a browser tab, which is the point.

One thing worth being clear about: 38-0 is online in the sense that it runs on the web and shares a leaderboard, not in the sense that you play head-to-head against another manager in real time. Your opponents are the nineteen tiered Premier League sides the engine puts you in a league with, and the result of each match is decided by how your XI's weighted rating measures up against theirs, plus home advantage.
The competition happens after the season rather than during it. Your 38 results become a points total and a finishing position, and the leaderboard is where those totals meet everyone else's. Since a perfect season is possible but rare — no side has ever won all 38 matches of a real Premier League campaign, and Arsenal's 2003-04 Invincibles went unbeaten only by drawing twelve of them — most of the board is made up of very good seasons that fell a point or two short.
